Cocktails in the morning, say what!

Lately, I’ve been changing up my morning routine to accommodate for the warm weather this summer!

While I’ve been following a nutrition plan for the last five years (on and off, let’s be real), I’ve been advised to drink apple cider vinegar (ACV) in the morning. My morning cocktail consists of:

  • 2 parts pineapple juice
  • 2 parts kombucha pineapple, turmeric (optional)
  • 1 part water
  • 1/2 part fresh squeezed lime
  • 1/2 part ACV

It honestly reminds me of my party-going days when I’d drink pineapple and rum just because it tastes so good 😉

A study in 2009 on Japanese subjects found body weight, BMI, visceral fat area, waist circumference, and cholesterol levels were significantly lower in vinegar intake groups than in the placebo group.

For myself, I usually have trouble going to the bathroom on the regular and noticed if I drink this first thing in the morning, it helps me go. I know TMI but ACV has made me feel so much better and would highly recommend you try it out too.
